A real bonus at the end of the vug on this rarity is a 3 mm long lathe of colorless, gypsum-like schultenite. Schultenite is a very rare lead arsenate and Tsumeb is the Type Locality. Combination specimens of this type were found (very few), only once, in the 1970s at Tsumeb, as reported in the 1977 Mineralogical Record TSUMEB special issue. Ex. He supplied the first specimens of a new zinc arsenate to the chemist Charles Friedel. Friedel did the analysis and, in 1866, named the mineral after him[1].\n\nThe specimens came from **Chañarcillo**, in the Copiapó Province of Chile's Atacama region[2]. Chañarcillo remains the type locality of the species.\n\nAdam was not a one-mineral patron. Specimens from his cabinet led to the formal description of aerugite, chenevixite, corkite, cuprotungstite, scacchite, and xanthiosite[1].
