Morphology

Ultrathin elongated blades, with lengths up to 0.1 mm and thicknesses of only 1–2 μm. The crystals are generally curved and show sub-parallel lamellae.

Type-locality form

lemon-yellow fillings together with massive scorodite in fissures and cracks in quartz adjacent to löllingite. It is also found as tiny yellow rosettes lining vugs and as spheroids of ultrathin blades.
