The n\u003Csub>α\u003C\u002Fsub> and n\u003Csub>β\u003C\u002Fsub> values for Nežilovo material reported by Bermanec \u003Cem>et al.\u003C\u002Fem>, 2021 are implausibly low (n\u003Csub>α\u003C\u002Fsub> = 1.537(2) and n\u003Csub>β\u003C\u002Fsub> = 1.579(1)) and appear to be erroneous (and also markedly differ from the analogous values obtained by Barresi \u003Cem>et al.\u003C\u002Fem>, 2007 for an Italian example of the related mineral \u003Cm>ardennite-(V)\u003C\u002Fm>.)\r\n\r\nDispersion appears variable, with older literature reporting \"strong\", and also Bermanec \u003Cem>et al.\u003C\u002Fem>, 2021 reporting \"strong\" with v > r for the Nežilovo material.
