Morphology

Dipyramidally terminated, short-prismatic habit with a diameter of up to 0.3 mm. Observed forms: (101),(100) and (001).

Type-locality form

As a late, hydrothermally formed phase which occurs as euhedral microcrystals in dissolution cavities in yttrian fluorite.
