Type-locality form

Matted nests of acicular and flexible fibres up to 200 μm in length and a width less than a few μm.

Comment

Reinvestigation by Lanza et al. (2019) demonstrates the mineral is orthorhombic (space group Pnma for average structure) with a = 21, b = 4.3, c = 9.5 Å, and incommensurately modulated.
