Where it forms, where it's found

Geological setting

In a series of thinly stratified, pyrite-rich black shales and reddish-grey, hematite-bearing silt-stones of probably Devonian age. These rocks host a single vein from 0.5 to 2 cm in thickness, rich in selenium.
