This smoky crystal with large GEMMY areas is crudely terminated at top and bottom by etching or contact, but is nonetheless a fine single crystal with excellent lustre and display quality to it! Such pieces are VERY rare and I have seen just a few for sale including the Barlow specimen, which I myself handled in 1999. See Barlow book page 322 for comparison (the largest terminated crystal on that specimen = 2.1 cm).
