Some of the surfaces of the pannikins have a thin crust of alteration products consisting of white crystals and black crystals.\r\nThe black crystals were named \"romarchite\", referring to the \u003Cstrong>R\u003C\u002Fstrong>oyal \u003Cstrong>O\u003C\u002Fstrong>ntario \u003Cstrong>M\u003C\u002Fstrong>useum  \u003Cstrong>Arch\u003C\u002Fstrong>aeology section, where the mineral was first studied.
