Stretched across them is a 21-cm(!) pseudomorphed crystal of stibiconite after stibnite! These are well-known from Mexico, but NOT from China, and certainly not in a specimen of this magnitude! An certainly not displayed so nicely on matrix as this! Other smaller crystals, including a pretty spray, are elsewhere amongst the barites. Stibiconite is not something i usually recommend to anybody, as its typically earthy, dull, and boring. But THIS specimen is a real showpiece. Its only drawback is the sheer size of the barite plate, and that it won't fit sizewise in many collections. In fact, I complained about that when buying it, and so got it more cheaply for the reason, and am passing it on for the same reason.
