A great rarity from this well known pegmatite occurrence in Pakistan featuring a very good sized mesh-like group of prismatic silvery viitaniemiite crystals sitting atop golden, semi-metallic, hexagonal bladed crystals of muscovite with minor green fluorite and white albite. This very rare sodium calcium manganese aluminum phosphate is only found in about a dozen localities in the world, and even though the largest known example of the species was found in Afghanistan (see following link: \u003Ca rel=\"nofollow\" class=\"external free\" href=\"http:\u002F\u002Fwww.mindat.org\u002Fphoto-132707.html\">http:\u002F\u002Fwww.mindat.org\u002Fphoto-132707.html\u003C\u002Fa>), this is the only specimen of confirmed viitaniemiite from Pakistan that we've seen.
