Flattened on (010), the predominant face. Smaller (181) and (270) and minor (251), (031) and (101).

Twinning

Twinning common on (101} and (181).

Type-locality form

Crystals on the walls of miarolitic cavities. Forms pseudomorphs after perovskite and replaces ilmentite.
