Morphology

Short bladed crystals, flattened on (001), elongated parallel to [010]. Size: Up to ~0.1 mm in length. Forms observed: (001), (110) and (101). The (001) are showing striations paralllel to [010]. Often double terminated.

Twinning

No twinning observed.

Type-locality form

Sugary aggregates intermixed with fragmented quartz crystals embedded in a porous boxwork of hematite and goethite.
