Morphology

Simple; elongate hexagonal prism (100) and a basal pinacoid (001).

Type-locality form

Radial sprays of colorless needles. Individual crystals are prismatic and sometimes have cavernous tubes at the ends. Crystals are generally 1-2 mm in length and less than 0.1 mm in width.
