Morphology

Indistinct crystals at times with indistinct octahedral and cubic faces. Massive. Artificial crystals are cubo-octahedral.

Type-locality form

Compact irregular masses, colorless but not perfectly clear, with sparing traces of crystalline form. Rare small rounded crystal-like projections.
